Tuesday 02/02/21 A day to Reflect
After doing a bit of house-keeping this morning….like buying a new TV for the caravan, we headed out to do some more exploring of Albany. We visited a lookout which gave us a brilliant view over the many and beautiful bays that surround Albany. From here we spent quite a large amount of time checking out the buildings and installations around the Princess Royal Fortress before going into the National ANZAC Centre. This magnificent museum had a fantastic interactive displays and we certainly had time to reflect. Each of us were given a person from the First World War and we followed their story during the war.
There has been a group of magpies around the caravan
park each afternoon. They come in very close to Pat & Allan’s unit, this
isn’t a sight you see often. By the way the are several collective nouns for magpies
and I think the best is a Parliament of magpies, most appropriate.
